Hand-drawn digital illustration and linework and full can layout made using Adobe Suite.
Also included in the gallery is the original concept art that was later pivoted toward a more striking cyber-punk artwork.

Inspired by the Japanese classics Sapporo Dry and Asahi Dry, this design brings the classic Japanese premium beer look to Australian shores.
A black and gold print is used on top of the aluminium can substrate to maintain a ‘premium’ effect.

As the lead designer and founding member of the Woolfie team, I worked across the entire branding and design of this amazing startup.
Bringing together the nerdiness of retro games and the corporate feeling of the Slack software, the designs for Woolfie had to be somewhere in between Nerdy and Normie.

The latest limited release from Modus Operandi, Pacific Pulp is a “Pulp Fiction” inspired beer. Staying true to the movie theme, a pop-art motif is used and the colour palette not only “pops out” but it also shows the tropical flavours used in the beer.

A Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale inspired by WWE wrestling, conceptualising ideas for DDH Stunner was challenging from the get go. This was also the first can that would follow the new design formula I envisioned for the New Modus Limited Releases featuring the “MO” logo up front, to strengthen the Modus Branding in these Limited Releases.
With the Wrestling theme and the name Stunner, I gravitated towards “Steve Austin” as the inspiration for the graphics. As our team wanted a strong shelf presence for this beer, we went for a pop art approach featuring a comic style graphic that would surely pique the interest of whoever saw this can on the shelf.
The can design for DDH Stunner got a lot of attention in the Modus Socials as people started posting images of wrestling moves with the can.

This project was a beer collaboration between KOKO BLACK and Modus Operandi for the Good Beer Week 2021.
In designing the can label for this collaboration beer, I had to work using the design guidelines of both Modus and KOKO BLACK. There was a good back and forth of ideas between the Modus team and the KOKO BLACK design team to get everything to fit both brands.

Following the success of the Neon-themed beers of Modus exclusively for the GABS festival 2021, we wanted to bring this concept to a limited national release.
We kept to the theme similar to that of the “Blade Runner” and kept the overall design, typography, and colour palettes within this theme.

In collaboration with the Four Seasons Hotel and their prestigious Grain Bar, Modus Brewed a 5-grain lager exclusively for their new bar.
To fit the luxurious, & modern theme of the bar, I went for the classic matte black and gold for the label of the Grain Lager. I used the Logo of the Grain Bar as the centrepiece of the design and kept everything else minimal and simplistic.
We also set up a photoshoot with the amazing Four Seasons Hotel team where we got them indulge in the journey of creating the Grain Lager from start to finish. This was later used for the promotion of the new lager in both the Grain Bar and Modus’ socials.

Wax Flower Sour was a limited release beer that went into the Australian Market in early January, 2021. This beer used wax flower as a unique flavour for the beer.
For the summer release beer of early 2021, we took inspiration from the iconic surf board wax, Sex Wax.

I was approached to create a stay-at-home sale ad campaign, including EDM banners and Shopify store assets, for miiru, an independent fashion label.
Two weeks into my role as the in-house graphic designer for Modus Operandi, I was tasked with bringing their upcoming duo of sour beers to life.
As a summer beer series, we wanted both beers to have a bright and tropical feel, thus the usage of the pattern and the fruit illustrations. A heavy illustrative style is also an ongoing trend among craft beer brands.

As another entry to the 2019 Australian Graphic Design Awards (AGDA) that reached the finals, this conceptual Spider Gwen poster was made by creating a 1:12 miniature NYC alley set, using mostly cardboard and random materials found at home. A 1:12 action figure of Gwen was then used as a model for recreating scenes from the graphic novel.
